With an impressive 29 years of experience managing, developing businesses, and providing public service, Holly Ham can solve any problem with her remarkable blend of empathy, collaboration, creativity, and innovation. Her long-standing career speaks for itself!
As a seven-year-old, Holly embarked on an incredible journey of self-discovery when she and her family emigrated to America in search of the American Dream. Holly’s Priorities
Top Concerns & Priorities for Humble ISD School Board
01
Accountability
For successful student outcomes, Holly will prioritize policies that encourage parental accountability and foster greater achievement. With an eye on the real endgame – setting up students for success in life – Humble ISD can be empowered to take meaningful steps toward educational excellence. As an elected steward of this educational community, Holly will prioritize the voices and needs of those she will serve.
02
Transparency Through Data
At Humble ISD, it’s essential to embrace the power of data. Anecdotes and personal experiences may provide valuable input, but facts from quantitative measurements are exponentially insightful. With humility in mind, Holly believes we must not shy away from opportunities to improve; after all, knowledge is vital when striving for excellence. Furthermore, the community should understand why Humble ISD makes important decisions within the district.
03
Strong Schools
Good, strong schools enable so much more than good, strong students. As a community, we are united and become stronger by providing an excellent place for children to thrive. Involved parents, compassionate and informed teachers and staff, and neighbors that watch out for each other make the district strong. When our school district is strong, the community grows and thrives.
04
Fiscal Responsibility
As the district grows, more families find the Lake Houston area an attractive place to live. Economic opportunities develop, home values appreciate and the district is better funded. Holly aims to be fiscally conservative and find value in expenditures focusing on student learning, safety, and betterment. Every dollar will be carefully scrutinized to ensure a conservative, well-meaning learning experience for all Humble ISD students.
